I have been vegetarian mostly in my life and turned vegan 2 years back...The process was stopping dairy because I was lactose intolerant and slowly I turned vegan...my love for animals was immense earlier in life but was surrounded by non vegetarian s and was forced to follow...Now I can stand on my terms and respects every one's choice of food...I look forward to find vegan friends globally and feel connected with like minded people....peace and love to all 🤩🤩🤩
Hey Nova, I really admire your journey! It’s not easy to shift away from what you’ve been surrounded by for so long, but it sounds like your love for animals guided you in the right direction. It’s powerful when we can finally stand by our own values, especially when it comes to something as fundamental as what we eat.

It’s also great that you respect everyone’s choices, it makes the conversation around veganism so much more positive and inclusive. Finding like-minded friends globally is a fantastic idea. Have you connected with any online vegan communities? There are some really supportive and inspiring groups out there.

Peace and love to you too! 🌱 How have you found the transition in terms of finding new vegan options? I’m always on the lookout for new recipes

Hey Benjamin....thanks for the reply...being in a Arab country its really hard when food is always around our meetups and conversations and always people go for meat...Personally I had overcome bigger challenges in my life and that gave me confidence to tell all my friends that I have turned vegetarian Completely and then now into veganism....I remember I couldn't sleep for days after watching Netflix series on animal cruelty and how meat and milk and eggs are made...Few weeks after that my body was even rejecting those food....but to be honest Iam a fan of yogurt and I still miss it sometimes....because I struggle tricking my mind with plant based yogurt...
