Lately I have been wanting to read all the vegan books, I read all kinds of books from all kinds of authors but I find that empathy is lacking in a large portion of them and that there is always something missing in most of them. I hope to change this feeling by getting into more vegan authors. Right now I am reading Eternal Treblinka which is a pretty brutal book describing all the bad things humans did and do to animals and not just animals but to themselves too.

I feel like vegan books, fiction or non-fiction feel very important and not only that but there is something more relatable about people who have chosen this path. It feels more welcoming and nice to engage in thoughts with like minded people and books really are photographs of conversations long ago.

I just finished book called Vegan Style which listed so many vegan fashion designers I had no idea existed. Where I live I get to see so little about veganism and that's the case for a lot of people. Books, communities and online support is so important. I wish people would challenge themselves in the right ways and not turn to addictions, but for example activism. I am always very happy for activists because they are fighting for a less poluted world and in doing so it does become less poluted.

Anyways I want to read books that make my mind less poluted :)) It's like exercise and hard, but very worth it.

Yes, I read so many of them!! Latest was Why we love dogs, eat pigs and wear cows. It was quite good and gives a solid psychological background on the descrimination that vegans face in this oppressive system of carnism 🌱✨️

Absolutely, diving into vegan literature does open up a whole new perspective, doesn't it?
It's wonderful that you're exploring vegan books.
It's like a breath of fresh air, finding content that resonates with our values in a world where it might not be the norm.

I completely agree that vegan books, be they fiction or non-fiction, carry a unique importance.
They connect us to like-minded individuals and ideas from the past, creating a community of thought and compassion.

And yes, activism in any form, especially for such a cause, is incredibly uplifting. It’s all about making those small changes that lead to a bigger impact. Keep exploring and sharing these gems of books. It's a beautiful way to cleanse the mind and spread awareness
