Thought ya'll might be interested in the Vegan Speed Dating event coming up (same group that did the PETA in February).

Apparently they're still in earlybird, so it's $15. I thought the prior one they did was great.

I'm 42, male. I've been vegan for the animals for 13 years (plus 3 years vegetarian before that). My life is an ever-evolving story of personal growth, curiosity, and intentional living. Always creating a meaningful life aligned with my values and what's important to me. As an introvert, I appreciate quiet mornings with coffee, cozy and calm nights in, or any sort of indoor activity like boardgames, listening to music, or dancing in the kitchen...maybe with you . But I also enjoy travel, being out in nature, concerts, vegan restaurants, museums, coffee shops, + more. Oh and I LOVE dancing! I don't do any drugs and don't drink alcohol.

So what I'm looking for: a tidy and monogamous partner that values teamwork, great communication, playfulness, integrity, and respect. Someone that doesn't have kids and doesn't want any. If we seem compatible, let's chat and see what amazing things are in store for us!

I really liked this blog about how to date a non-vegan, it was actually full of helpful information and made me less resistant to potential dating an (open minded) meat eater.
Instead of judging others for eating animals i'm going to reframe that judgement into compassion and tell myself ''People cannot change what they do not know". When you think about it, Every person is just one impactful conversation away from embracing veganism. 🌱💗

Good question. For me I think it would depend on mongomy vs. non-monogomy. In the latter case, I'd be open to it, though would continue looking for someone vegan (and be willing then for a monogamous relationship).

Vegetarian can be worse than carnist if they're consuming more dairy and egg as a result. Poor calves and chicks. If they're consuming lots of dairy, then it's not good for the environment either. As you may know, global warming causes extreme suffering to wildlife.

I think there are always so many variables that it'll always depend. But for me, ultimately, it would have to come down to whether this person is going to be long term partner or not. If they're not gonna be vegan with me, they're not gonna be with me 🥲
