    Hey everyone! 👋

    I’m still fairly new to being vegan, and not a great cook.
    But I’d really like to pick up more tips whether it’s about getting the best flavours, simple swaps, or how to replicate certain dishes I used to enjoy.

    Any advice or hacks you’ve picked up along the way? I’d love to hear them 🧑‍🍳😊

    But I’d really like to pick up more tips whether it’s about getting the best flavours, simple swaps, or how to replicate certain dishes I used to enjoy.

    The best tips I learnt for adding flavour to vegan versions of my favourite dishes were:

    Spag bol: add a bit of vegan pesto or dry Cajun spices for more layers of flavour

    Curry: sprinkle in crispy onions (the dry ones you buy in a tub), they make curry taste incredible 🤤

    Casseroles and Shepherds pie: you can use HP/ brown sauce instead of Worcestershire sauce for the same flavour.

    Risotto, soups and creamy pasta: sprinkle in nutritional yeast flakes for that nutty/cheesy mild flavour 😋
