You’re so right. If you think of the animals, you can’t go anywhere but forward.

For me, I had felt some guilt over the years, and always did my best to put it to the back of my mind. I had begun not enjoying eating meat, and then, one day, I had a meal, and enjoyed it. I found that feeling even worse to handle. I felt like a bad person.

I instantly said, “That’s the last meal I have with animal parts in it.”, and I became vegan.
