Yes I have faced threats, but was always careful about not getting arrested. When I organised
the protest outside MBR Acres with Camp Beagle, I was joined by 8 other UK female models who showed interest in the cause. We did a bikini protest and this attracted media attention. Journalists came over to tell the beagles’ story and why we were there half naked on a fast road. But MBR brought muscle. They had these 4 burly menacing looking men wearing a face mask and sunglasses, hiding their identity. They came out, ran after me and another model, throwing injunction letters at us. My husband was there and he acted like my security. They called us freaks. Then the other models joined. And we were opposite their building, away from the side of the gate this time. The thugs crossed the road and came to harass the models whilst I was on the phone with a journalist. I heard screaming as they pushed the models and tapped them with paperwork. They called them sluts.
The boyfriend of one of the models was protecting her as she was pregnant. No one knew back then. He pushed the thug MBR worker away and he fell in a ditch covered in leaves. Took him a while to get up.
A week later, the model told me they were getting sued because the thug said he hurt his back. They saw their car number plate on their cameras and reported them to the police.
The charges were dropped as the woman showed up in court pregnant and hence why the bf acted that way, to protect her.
With regards, the parliament, I was met with an onlooker who told me I should put my tiny dog down as he’s a nuisance. He was barking at another dog as we were doing the beagle protest. And another man was aggressive, telling me I should put some clothes on and that no one will listen to me about what I have to say.
With regards, the protest in Malta, one of the men who owned horse carriage kept running through the protesters and hitting them with his shoulders & hitting the signs with the palm of his hand.
The police were there and did nothing to stop him from acting out violently.
I was protesting passionately and one of horse carriage owners tried to take the mickey out of me. As he started recording I said, is this how you want your children to remember you, as an animal abuser? At that point he turned his phone away and the same violent guy had something in his hand. He started walking towards me. I wasn’t sure if it was a knife, a razor or a pen. But I screamed out and the police stopped him to see what he had in his hand. He was definitely coming to attack me. Most horse carriage drivers have criminal records and the thugs who works at MBR do too.
It is not easy protesting. I am now currently doing it on insta online and through my music.
At one point my vegan husband was worried I’ll get hurt or arrested. I do tend to be brave in that moment and stand up to people who are not good. However, these people are deranged. I tried to get into fox hunting protests and he said those people are the worst of the worst, and I can put myself in a lot of danger especially since they might recognise me from social media and maybe find my Uk address.
