I struggled as a vegetarian to drink my speciality coffee with soy milk. In the end I found that it wasn't that plant based milk was inferior to cows milk, it was that I just didn't have the right milk to move me over earlier. Thankfully now there are so many different types, it's much easier to find the one that suits new vegans.
