I really want to see Wicked. I'm so glad it's got a positive message about animals. I've long been very concerned about animals in both films and TV. For instance, I love the programme, Murdoch Mysteries. It's set in Toronto in the early 1900s. They use horses a lot. They're hooked up to heavy stagecoaches, wagons and farm machinery. They've got heavy saddles, bindings and bits in their mouths. It's heartbreaking to see. They also show animals being tested on and eat a large amount of dead animals. I'm more and more upset seeing animals being used and abused for the sake of film and television programmes. I always look away from scenes with animal abuse. I'm an Empath and besides absorbing the feelings of people, I also absorb those of animals. Hollywood, Canada, and other film and TV locales needs must address animal abuse and use in their productions and seek alternatives and subject matter that doesn't focus on animals in negative ways.

The consumption of any animal is like cannibalism. It's the whole eating flesh, blood and secretions thing. It's barbaric and just plain evil. People are so repulsed by serial killers yet, they are serial killers executing billions of animals yearly. And who goes into a job interview in a slaughterhouse stating they are good at killing animals? I can't wrap my head around the mentality. Yes, we had the horrific Holocaust in the 30s and 40s but, animals have been in a Holocaust since time began. Animals are beautiful, very intelligent, sentient creations of God. He never created life to have it taken by anyone. His commandment, "Thou shalt not kill, " excludes no one, no human or animal. All life is priceless.
