Hi everyone, I’m a vegan mum of two, and while being plant-based has been great for me, I’ve been finding it so difficult to sort out healthy snacks and meals for my kids. Every time I go shopping, it feels like I’m navigating a minefield of sugar and junk food. So much of what’s marketed toward children is either heavily processed or loaded with additives—it’s shocking! I try to keep things balanced with homemade options, but let’s be real, life gets busy, and sometimes you just need quick and healthy solutions. It’s frustrating that there aren’t more nutritious, plant-based choices available that don’t feel like a compromise. How do you manage to find or make healthy snacks and meals for kids?
