As consumers, we are often kept in the dark about the physical toll these animals endure spending their lives in cramped conditions, their health deteriorating to the point of becoming "spent hens." It’s clear that these industries prioritize profit over animal welfare. If more people knew the harsh reality behind their food choices, I believe many would reconsider. The challenge lies in communicating this truth effectively, ensuring people don’t just hear it but are moved to act, opting for alternatives that do not contribute to such needless suffering.
