The last couple of years I have wondered.... "how many ARA's might have the same experience of the world as me?"
I wonder if those of us who have campaigned, advocated and worked directly with the massive suffering of animals, have a higher statistical change (or risk, depending on how you view it) to filter our experiences, memories or traumas through Aphantasia or/and SDAM.
Aphantasia and SDAM are not mainstream topics and certainly not something covered in the vegan / activist community,...

Aphantasia and SDAM are not mainstream topics and certainly not something covered in the vegan / activist community, but I think we could benefit from taking a closer look at this.
I realized a couple of years ago that I experience the world different from the majority of people around me.
In all the ways that count, it has made a positive difference to me.
I'm passing on the information, and perhaps someone out there coincidentally reading my post, will realize that they have an activist super power and their brains are a perfect tool against depression and burn out from AR activism.
